Toronto 2007 Gay Pride Celebrations

Michele Hammerton and her partner, Karen Halliday are the owners of SLACKS Restaurant and Bar at 562 Church Street, Toronto, Canada. They asked me if I would like to be an artist of the month at SLACKS. I said, "Sure!" The drawings shown on this page will be displayed in SLACKS during the 2007 Toronto Gay Pride celebrations. June 15th - 24th, 2007

I just love this cartoon...

...love this country...
Unlike other countries and states, that gay marriage is legal; residency is not required to get married in Canada, The United Nations considers Toronto the most ethnically-diverse city in the world with over 100 languages and dialects spoken, There are more than 5,000 restaurants in Toronto; 125 museums and public archives; over 50 ballet and dance companies; six opera companies; and two symphony orchestras. Toronto is a city where same-sex couples are not simply tolerated, but are celebrated.

Wishing you all a Happy Pride!
